DESCRIPTION

The ITIL Specialist: IT Asset Management certification shows that that the individual understands the key concepts, principles, challenges and value of ITAM and use these to foster effective management of costs and risks, monitoring and ensuring compliance, and good governance of IT assets. The individual can demonstrate effective decision-making skills which encompass all aspects of the IT asset lifecycle including the ability to recognise and evaluate the sustainability aspects of IT assets.

PREREQUISITES

The individual has passed the ITIL 4 ® SPECIALIST IT Asset Management exam. ; Complete 5 points out of the required 20 in the practical application of ITIL 4 ® SPECIALIST IT Asset Management knowledge and skills within your professional capacity, either through professional practice or coaching and mentoring. ; Complete 15 points out of the required 20 through chosen activities suiteds to the individuals professional development needs. These activities may fall within training and qualifications, community participation and self-study.
